“I’d go with Arsenal (to win the title) because I think they’ll do well.” Gary said. “They’ve got a good schedule over Christmas. I think they’ll get points and I think they’ll be in form in the New Year and I think they’ll win the league this season.”

“Top four… I don’t trust Tottenham and Aston Villa and to be fair Nottingham Forest. Bournemouth and a few others are in the same group. I think City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal. It’s the first time in 15 years that I’m not saying United will be in the top four! I think they will be.”

“The relegation teams… Southampton, for sure. I think Ipswich, the other one, and I would say Wolves. I watched Wolves play Liverpool and, to be honest, Liverpool didn’t play well at all. But they didn’t have to play that well and Wolves were lousy. So I thought, ‘Oh no!'”

“So I don’t think Wolves will survive unless they do something in the January window.”
